Hello Child of God,
Receive my season’s greetings….
It has been quite some time….I know it’s that time of the
year when everyone is on the move. Preparations for holidays, celebrations end
year review and new-year resolutions and all that is good.
Today I want to talk to my brothers and sisters in Christ, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in
Jesus Christ, and called….. Please pull a stool, grab a cup of
coffee and some pop corns and let’s have a talk.
Burdened
Ever been into a matatu and then a mama enters with a big heavy Kiondo( Basket) then instead of keeping
it in the segregated place for luggage decide to carry it on her back or laps
amidst the struggle? Ever wondered why on earth she would choose to carry it on
her laps or her back when she can travel freely and keep it aside? I have been
wondering on the same issue until it occurred to me that, that’s how most of us
(Christians) behave….of course we have remnants. Although Christ has freed us, sometimes
we tend to carry unnecessary luggage and burden ourselves with the very things Christ freed us from.
Deception
Hosea 4: 6(a) my people are
destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge…While I
was thinking on the current trends of in our Christian faith, I realized that
so much has changed from how the early church conducted the affairs pertaining
faith. No wonder though bible says that we shall do much more miracles than
Christ did, we are still stuck and much is not happening. The technological
advancement has really affected the church and now Christians are seeking
instant gratification on everything. Patience is no longer a virtue and the
reason we have people moving from one “prophet” to another in search of
miracles. The number of lazy Christians is increasing day by day where people
want successful living with no effort at all. No work, No prayer, no word. The
laws of demand and supply have to apply and this has caused a similar increase
in the number of “prophets” who are not after enlightening the sheep but after
taking advantage of their ignorance turning the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ
into a business.( Ezekiel 34) The emphasis on prosperity gospel has been rubber stamped and
“believers” are only expected to sow a seed, or give an offering and they will
have everything they want. (I am not against giving though). The teachings on
salvation, holiness, righteousness, prayer and the word are heavily ignored and
the prophet acts as the mediator between God and the believers. No personal
relationship with God. As long as the prophet says it, whether it contradicts
the word of God or not, that is taken as the gospel truth. Buying and selling
of anointing oil, brooms, handkerchiefs, water and much more for believers to
use as protection from enemies. Creation of nonexistence curses where believers
ought to pay for the same to be broken, and because they have no idea what
bible says about them, they fall captives. Many believers do not know their
portion in the kingdom, they don’t read the word wholesomely and therefore they
fall with the mention of a portion of a verse meant to mislead them.
This article is addressed to born again; people who have
established and personal relationship with their Lord and want to know the
power within them….do you know who you are??
Ephesians 1:5-7 Vs 7 says “In Whom we have redemption through
his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to riches of his grace”.
Redemption is gaining possession of
something in exchange for payment. Christ redeemed you from death, you are His. You were designed to die since the wages of sin is death but Christ paid
the debt. He died for you and therefore you belong to God. You are His son and
you need no mediator between you and Christ.
You are not a slave but a son…Galatian 4: 7
“Wherefore though art no more a servant but a son, and if a son, then an heir
of God through Christ”
Ephesians 1: 3 “Blessed be the God and
Father who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavily places in
Christ Jesus”.
When you gave your life to Christ, all
curses that had been pronounced over you were broken. You received Deliverance.
All chains linking you to any generational curses were broken. You became a new
creation in Christ Jesus. A member of God’s family and a joint heir with
Christ.
Jesus became a curse for you so that
blessings may come upon you. Galatians 3: 13-14 “Christ has redeemed us from
the Curse of the Law, being made a curse for us : for it is written, Cursed is
every one that hangeth on a tree. That the blessings of Abraham might come on
the Gentiles through Jesus Christ…That we night receive the promise of the
spirit through faith.”
You need to know and believe that the
moment you gave your life to Christ, you received deliverance from all bondages
and therefore you need not move from one prophet to another seeking to break
curses and alters. One you gave your live to Christ, you were disconnected from
your ancestral alters and connected to Jesus Christ…You only need to walk the
walk of faith, read your bible, obey the dand pray…work out your
salvation…Christ promises freedom and you are free….Believe….Galatians 3:22(b)
“…..The promise by faith is to those who believe”
Christ cancelled out all writings against
your live. Anything that was spoken or written against you was blotted out the
moment you gave your life to Christ: Colossians 2:14 “Blotting out the
handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and
took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;”…It was finished. Dont walk in fear....
The reason why Satan torments you is
because you have not fully understood yourself or you do not believe in the
power we have in Christ.
Colossians 3:3 “for you are dead, and your
life is hid with Christ in God”
Ephesians 1: 20-22 “which he wrought in
Christ when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in
the heavenly places, Far above all principality and power, and might, and
dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world but also in that
which is to come. And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be
head over all things to the church”
Picture a card, put in a purse then
enclosed in a brief case. That means for you to reach the card, you have to
tamper or open the bag then the purse. Your life is hidden in Christ Jesus and
the in God the father. Similarly, for witches to get you, they encounter Christ who
protects you, unless now you’ve walked away from him and you are on your own.
Paul Says, “It is no Longer I who lives, but Christ lives in me…” Similarly,
when you surrendered your life to Christ, you gave him full access to your life
and that’s why he has hidden you in himself. You carry the anointing that
breaks every yoke….
Numbers 23:23 …. Surely there is no
enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against
Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What
hath God wrought!....You see, Baalam went to Curse the Israelites and was not
able to curse them, he ended up blessing them….why? Because they were chosen
generation, a royal priest hood and a people belonging to God. If you firmly
believe in God, no sorcerer or witch doctor will have power over your
life….because you are hidden in Christ. You don’t have to be prayed for against
Witchcraft, You need to only thank God because you are protected.
Beware:
Brethren, Do not be deceived, Christ gave
his life for you to receive freedom in Him. All he wants is us to walk the walk
of faith, believe in His word, and worship him in truth and spirit. Make your
bible your friend to avoid deception. Be like the bereans, go back to the word,
and see what the bible says.
Colossians 2:8 “Beware lest any man spoil
you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the
rudiments of the world, and not after Christ”
Jude Vs 3-4 Dear
friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we
share, I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was
once for all entrusted to God’s holy people. For
certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago
have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the
grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only
Sovereign and Lord.
Beware, Keep the word
close to your heart and endeavor to seek the truth.
Bible says, we shall know
the truth and the truth shall set us free. Since Jesus said He is the truth, then
I can confidently say… You shall know Jesus, and Jesus Shall set you free. Do
not live in Bondage, do not live in deception, you have the power within you.
Walk into 2018 in freedom, you are not in a cage, you are not cursed, you are blessed, the Lord is concerened and has perfected everything that pertains you.
Dear Friend, This festive season, endeavor to review your
walk with Christ even as you review your 2017 . Make reading of
the word and prayer a priority in your 2018 resolution list. Let’s seek the
Lord while He may be found….Let’s allow Christ to keep working on us…. We are
Work in Progress.
